Yardparty Adelaide Customer Service & Terms and Conditions

Bookings    

To make a booking simply add the items your require to the shopping cart and specify the reservation dates (Please Note:  The website will only allow bookings for products that are not currently allocated to another party or undergoing maintenance).  Next proceed through checkout and an order confirmation will be emailed to you.  A representative from our office with then contact you to make final arrangements.  Alternatively you can also download an order form, complete and sign this form then fax to 08 8281 6105.   We will be in touch to confirm availability and collect payment.

Hire Basis  

• All hires are subject to game availability.     
• The daily hire rate is for a one day hire. Additional days are charged at the extra day rate.     
• Hire rates are priced on a pick up and return basis only. Delivery can be arranged.     
• Payment in full is required to secure your booking.     
• A security bond is required for all hires. All costs in excess of the security bond shall be charged to you. The security bond is payable as a pre-authorisation on a Visa or Mastercard.     

Appropriate & Safe Use of Games   

Supervision & Safe Use of Game     
• You MUST provide  adult supervision of children at all times.     
• Instructions on the set up and use of the games are provided if necessary.     
• You MUST ensure each game is used appropriately & for the purpose for which it was designed.     
• Fun For All can provide supervisors to organise & run your games for you. Please call for further details & costs.    

Public Parks/Function Centres     
• We strongly recommend you contact the relevant authority, such as the local Council, if you plan to set up the games up in a public park or reserve.     
• Public parks or reserves and some venues have restrictions on the use of tent pegs or other stakes.     
• It is your responsibility to check with the relevant person/authority.     

Suitable Playing Conditions, Play Area & Surfaces     
• When planning your event consider the size of the area available, the type of playing surface available and the likely weather conditions.     
• Some games are better suited to indoors & some outdoors, or not in windy conditions.     
• Games may not be safe to play outside in certain weather conditions. In hot weather, equipment can be hot to touch or sit on if it is not in the shade. In rain or on wet ground, players may slip & injure themselves. Some games tend to blow over in windy conditions and may need to pegged or weighted with a sand bag.     
• Not all games are suitable to set up on grass, such as the putter pool and ten pin bowling. These games should be set up on a hard, even surface. Some games, such as sack races, are not designed to be used indoors.     
• Games should be set up on a flat, even surface away from roads, footpaths, water and other obstructions.     
• Most games are not suitable to set up on asphalt or bitumen. If you can only set up the games on asphalt or bitumen please call us for suggestions before completing the booking form.     
• Inflatable games & games with carpets, vinyl mats or foam mats MUST NOT be used on surfaces that may damage the game, including any surface with a sharp or rough finish, such as asphalt/bitumen; gravel; stones; some types of pavers; or, very, dry & rough grass where stones or small sticks could cut or puncture the game.   
• Games MUST NOT to be left out overnight and must be stored undercover.     
• You are liable for repair/replacement costs caused by inappropriate use, incorrect storage or exposure to extreme weather.     

Footwear

• Players must wear appropriate footwear. High heeled shoes, stops or spikes can cause damage to mats and carpets. Shoes with buckles and sharp embellishments can puncture inflatable games.     
• You are liable for repair or replacement costs caused by inappropriate footwear.     

Staining & Damage from Other Substances     

• Food or drinks must not be consumed whilst playing the games.     
• Food, drinks, face paint, glitter, coloured hairspray, bubble solution, silly string, crepe paper, tissue paper, stickers, chewing gum & bubble gum are difficult to remove and can cause staining. Any games returned with stains caused by any of these or other substances shall incur a cleaning surcharge per game.     
• You are liable for repair or replacement costs caused by staining.    

Payment    

• Payment in full is required to secure your booking. Delivery, set up and pack down costs are charged after the completion of the hire.     
• An invoice will be provided once we receive a completed booking form.     
• Payment can be made by:     

- Paypal when processing your order online.
- Cash at our Para Hills West showroom.     
- Credit card either over the phone, or in person at our showroom at Para Hills West only. We accept payment by Visa or Mastercard.     
- Direct deposit. Our banking details are detailed on our booking form     
- Cheque. We only accept payment by cheque from organisations or businesses and only by prior agreement.     
• Please call us If you have any questions about payment.     

Security Bond    

• Security is required against loss, damage and other associated costs. A security bond of $100 is required for bookings up to a value of $100 or a $150 for bookings of $100 or over.     
• You are liable for loss, damage and all associated costs, fees or surcharges in excess of the security bond.     
• The security bond is payable as a pre-authorisation on a Visa or Mastercard credit card. A credit card pre-authorisation sets the funds aside. Once the games are checked the security bond (or remaining part thereof) is cleared. Please call us to discuss alternative arrangements if you do not have a credit card.     

Cleaning    

Private Hires     
• Games MUST be returned clean and dry. Games marked on the price list as SC require specialist cleaning. A cleaning surcharge shall be deducted from your security bond if these games require cleaning.     
• If the games are not returned ready to hire a cleaning surcharge of a minimum of $20 per game shall be deducted from your security bond. The cleaning surcharge is per game and will be based on the condition that each is returned in. Games that cannot be adequately cleaned will be considered damaged.     
• If you do not wish to clean the games a cleaning fee can be added to your game hire. Please call us to discuss.    

Organisation and Business Hires     
• Every game hire is subject to a minimum $20 cleaning fee.     
• You will be advised of the cleaning fee applicable to your hire once we received your completed booking form.     
• The cleaning fee covers “normal use” only, which includes games being played inside or outside in fine weather on lawn; undercover of a pergola, verandah, garage, etc. It does not include games being played in wet weather or on dirt, sand or in mud; games being returned wet; or games returned stained by food, drink or other substances.     
• If the games are returned in a condition not considered to be normal use a cleaning surcharge of a minimum $20 per game shall be deducted from the security bond and/or charged to you.     

Loss or Damage    

• If games are returned damaged or with missing parts, a minimum surcharge of $20 per game shall be deducted from your security bond. If the game cannot be repaired/cleaned you shall be charged the replacement cost of the game, which shall be deducted from your security bond or charged to you.     
• If any games are not returned at the end of the hire period you shall be charged the replacement cost of the game, which shall be deducted from your security bond or charged to you.     
• Repair or replacement costs caused by inappropriate or unsafe use shall be deducted from your security bond and/or charged to you.     

Pick Up & Return of Games By Hirer

By prior arrangement games can be picked up and returned from Para Hills West, Thebarton or Gawler.     
Para Hills West:  Fun For All Party Shop, Unit 7, 1445 Main North Road, Para Hills West     
• A Friday pick up for a Saturday or Sunday event is charged at the daily hire rate plus an extra day.     
• Saturday event: Games can be picked up between 9.00 am and 4.00 pm on Saturday. Games MUST be returned between 9.30 am and 12 noon on Monday.     
• Sunday event: Games can be picked up between 1.00 pm and 4.00 pm on Saturday. Games MUST be returned between 9.30 am and 12 noon on Monday.     
• Public Holiday event:  Please contact us to discuss arrangements.     
• Weekday event: Please contact us to discuss arrangements.     
Thebarton:  Kennards Self Storage, 101 -103 Port Road, Thebarton     
• A Friday pick up for a Saturday or Sunday event is charged at the daily hire rate plus an extra day.     
• Saturday hire: Games can be picked up between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm on Saturday. Games can be returned at any time during Kennards trading hours but MUST be returned by 12 noon on Monday.   

Pick Up & Return of Games By Hirer    

• Sunday hire: Games can be picked up between 1.00 pm and 5.00 pm on Saturday or between 10.00 am and 4.00 pm on Sunday. Games can be returned at any time during Kennards trading hours but MUST be returned by 12 noon on Monday.     
• Public Holiday event:  Please contact us to discuss arrangements.     
• Weekday event:  Please call us to discuss arrangements. Gawler     
• Pick up & return is from a private address. Please call us to discuss arrangements.     

Set Up & Pack Down of Games by Hirer    

• Games are hired on a Do-It-Yourself basis. Instructions to set up and play the games are supplied as necessary.     
• Phone support is available and hirers are provided with after hours contact numbers. Unnecessary on-site call outs shall be deducted from your security bond or charged to you.     
• Please ensure the games are packed correctly in the container/box or bag as supplied. If games are not returned in the condition in which they were loaned, including not being re-packed correctly or with damaged packaging, the costs incurred by Fun For All to check, clean, repair or replace the games or parts shall be deducted from your security bond or charged to you.     
• If you would prefer not to worry about picking up, setting up, cleaning, packing up & returning your games we are happy to provide this service. Supervisors are also available to oversee the games &/or organise activities with the games. Please call us for further details & costs.     

Delivery by Courier    

• Delivery of games by courier is available throughout South Australia, from Monday to Friday, during business hours. In metro Adelaide and surrounding area we use both standard couriers and express couriers. In rural and regional areas we use mainly use freight companies and quote on these deliveries on a job-by-job basis.    • Delivery by courier is on a drop off and pick up basis only.     
• The standard courier companies we use deliver according to a pre-set schedule and deliveries are most often overnight. Standard couriers charge per item (bag or box) and there is a size/weight/cubic volume limit per item. Standard courier charges are payable with your game hire.      
• The express courier companies we use offer a same day service. Charges are based on the number of boxes; size & weight; time of day; distance travelled; and, access to location/venue. You will be provided with a written quote but you shall be invoiced for the actual costs incurred. Delivery by express courier is payable after the event.      
• Please contact us to discuss your requirements and we will advise you on the most appropriate courier     
• You are welcome to arrange your own courier but a small admin fee will be charged. Many of our rural and regional hirers use their own courier service     

Delivery by Fun For All    

• Delivery of games by Fun For All is available in the Adelaide metro area, the Adelaide Hills and the Barossa Valley on Monday through to Sunday but drop off & pick up times depend on staff availability.     
• Please call to discuss your event and your requirements and we will supply you with a written quote. The quote will be based on an estimate of the staff time and distance from Fun For All to the delivery location and return. However, you shall be invoiced for the actual time spent on the delivery and the distance travelled. Delivery by Fun For All is payable after the completion of the event.     

Set Up & Pack Down by Fun For All    

• Fun For All can provide a set up and pack down service. Please call us to discuss your event and your requirements and we will supply you with a written quote.     
• Quotes for set up & pack down are based on an estimate of the time it should take under normal circumstances to set up/pack down the games. However, you shall be invoiced for the actual time spent on site. Set up and pack down charges are payable after the completion of the event.     

Booking Cancellations    

• Cancellations made with less than 5 business days notice incur a 50% cancellation fee. All other booking cancellations incur a $25 cancellation fee to cover administration and lost opportunity costs. These fees apply to the cancellation of a booking or a part cancellation of a booking.     
• Payments for games not picked up at the arranged time or not cancelled prior to delivery will not be refunded.     

Bad Weather    

• If you need to call off or postpone your event due to bad weather please contact us as soon as possible.     
• Game Pick Ups: If you contact us before you pick up the games, payment shall be converted to a credit. Once games are picked up payment will not be refunded. A credit must be used within 6 months or it will be forfeited.     
• Game Deliveries: If you contact us before we depart our showroom/storage facility, payment shall be converted to a credit. Otherwise payment will not be refunded. A credit must be used within 6 months or it will be forfeited.    

Insurance, Liability & Responsibility    

• Fun For All is insured for $10 million of public liability. Our insurance & responsibility extends to the limit of this policy only. It does not assume cover, responsibility for or in any way indemnify your event. You should seek your own cover & assume your own responsibility for your event.     
• Fun For All supervisors are suitably trained & qualified to set up; supervise; explain rules; and, pack up the games. It is your responsibility to arrange appropriate security against theft & to address all event occupational, health & safety     
matters. Games damaged or lost during a supervised event shall be charged to you.
